Xbox Exclusives are Returning

With a massive reset in full effect, Asha Sharma prepares to breathe life back into the Xbox brand. The reset has resulted in layoffs and some studios moving under new management or closure. According to Asha, the changes were [are] necessary due to the current state of the Xbox brand. It seems the Xbox faithful are on board with the changes and are backing Asha as she leads from the front.

Exclusivity

The heart of the Xbox brand were its exclusives games such as Halo, Gears of War, Forza, to name a few. During the Phil Spencer era, the Xbox faithful witness these beloved exclusive titles come to other competing platforms and the end of Xbox exclusivity became even more evident. Now, with a new leader [Asha Sharma] in charge and the old regime out, exclusive is at the center of conversations and Xbox executives are speaking out loud for all to hear that exclusivity is essential to the Xbox brand’s future. With the new Gears of War E-Day and Clockwork Revolution game announced exclusive, will more games like Halo and Forza return to the list.
